When the Dobson High School Cheer coach reached out to me about sideline action shots of their cheer and pom teams, I was beyond excited! Nights like these are so perfect for year-round content for your cheer program to use on social media, and to get beautiful photos of the athletes they can keep forever.
I headed out to the Dobson football field on what seemed to be a rainy night, but ended up with perfectly clear skies. It’s been a longgg time since I’ve done sideline action shots, and I have to admit I really miss the energy of the game night!
Getting to tell the story of the night, from the field run out, to the sideline chants, halftime performance, and fun individual tricks to end the night, was so amazing. I love looking at these favorites from the gallery to really tell the story of the night, or as moments that stand on their own. With an event like this, I always aim to get both individual action shots, along with some nice team/group photos so there is a good variety in the final gallery.
We had all of the Dobson High School cheer and pom teams on the sidelines for this game, which was so perfect to see everyone all together. This was their pink-out game for breast cancer awareness, so they all had the cutest pink poms and bows.
