I’ve known Makayla since her sophomore year of high school, when I started photographing for Gilbert High School Cheer! I cannot believe she is already graduating, she has such a fun personality and it has been so amazing getting to document all of her fun things over the years.

As part of the 2026 senior rep photo team, this was her solo senior session and it was just so perfect. She took me to a new spot with a water lookout and plenty of pretty open desert, and adventuring together was such a blast.

I loved everything she brought to her senior photos — the letterman jacket, all of her cheer medals, and her college tee! So fun to represent a bit of the past and the future.
